Charles Robert Watts ist ein englischer Schlagzeuger, der seit 1963 als Mitglied der Rolling Stones bekannt ist. Ursprünglich als Grafiker ausgebildet, begann er in Londons Rhythmus- und Bluesclubs Schlagzeug zu spielen, wo er Brian Jones, Mick Jagger und Keith Richards traf . Im Januar 1963 schloss er sich als Schlagzeuger ihrer jungen Gruppe, den Rolling Stones, an und fungierte gleichzeitig als Designer ihrer Plattenhüllen und Tourbühnen.
