Auch der Schlagzeuger von Lamb of God, Chris Adler, wurde für das Projekt in Betracht gezogen. Um 2007 gründete Roddy eine Instrumentengruppe namens Serpents Rise, die fast sofort die Aufmerksamkeit von Schlagzeugern auf der ganzen Welt auf sich zog.
