François "Frans" Botha ist ein ehemaliger südafrikanischer Profiboxer und Kickboxer. Im Boxen trat er von 1990 bis 2014 an und ist vielleicht am besten dafür bekannt, dass er 1995 den IBF-Schwergürtel gegen Axel Schulz gewann, wurde aber später disqualifiziert, nachdem er nicht getestet wurde. Anschließend forderte er 2000 und 2002 zweimal den Weltmeistertitel im Schwergewicht heraus. Botha spielte gegen die ehemaligen Schwergewichtsmeister Mike Tyson, Wladimir Klitschko, Lennox Lewis, Michael Moorer und am Ende ihrer Karriere Evander Holyfield. 2004 nahm Botha einmal an Mixed Martial Arts teil.
