George Corley Wallace Jr. is a politician, was the 45th Governor of Alabama for four terms. As a member of the Democratic Party, he is best remembered for his populist and populist views. During his tenure he promoted "industrial development, low taxes and business schools". Wallace filed for president of the United States as a Democrat three times, and once as a US Independence Party candidate, but each was in vain.
