Gregor Peter John Townsend ist ein schottischer Rugby-Union-Trainer und ehemaliger Spieler. Derzeit ist er Cheftrainer der schottischen Nationalmannschaft, zuvor war er von 2009 bis 2012 Co-Trainer. Townsend wurde als Angriffstrainer für die Tour der British & Irish Lions 2021 nach Südafrika ausgewählt. 1999 wurde ihm ein MBE für seine Verdienste um das Rugby verliehen.
