Han Geng is a Chinese singer and actor from Mandopop. He started his career in 2001, when he was chosen by SM Entertainment to become a member of South Korean boy group Super Junior, which debuted in 2005. He went on to become his leader Super Junior-M in 2008. On December 21, 2009, Han filed a lawsuit against SME to terminate her Contract. He returned to China to pursue a solo career. On September 27, 2011, when Han left SM Entertainment was officially announced, the two sides reached a mutual agreement. Because of his various contributions to spreading Chinese culture, Han was chosen as the torch bearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
