Kenneth Noland war ein amerikanischer Maler. Er war einer der bekanntesten amerikanischen Farbfeldmaler, obwohl er in den 1950er Jahren als abstrakter Expressionist und in den frühen 1960er Jahren als minimalistischer Maler angesehen wurde. Noland half beim Aufbau der Washington Color School Bewegung. 1977 wurde er von einer großen Retrospektive im Solomon R.
