Nariman Karbalayi Najaf oglu Narimanov war ein aserbaidschanischer Revolutionär, Bolschewik, Schriftsteller, öffentliche Meinung, Politiker und Politiker. Er ist auch der Autor der historischen Trilogie Nadir-Shah. Einer der zentralen Bezirke und eine der verkehrsreichsten U-Bahn-Stationen in Baku sowie mehrere Straßen, Parks und Hallen in ganz Aserbaidschan sowie die Aserbaidschanische Medizinische Universität tragen seinen Namen. In der Region Lankaran gibt es zu seinen Ehren eine Stadt namens Narimanabad.
