Sarah Anne Nixey is an English singer and songwriter, better known as the singer Black Box Recorder. Her first solo album, Sing, Memory, was released on February 19, 2007, followed by Brave Tin Soldiers, released on May 9, 2011. Her latest album, Night Walks, was released. Nixey is currently living in London with her husband, music producer Jimmy Hogarth, with whom she married in late 2010 and has a son, Reuben and a daughter, Lola. Nixey has one daughter, Ava, from her previous marriage to John Moore.
