Zubin Mehta ist ein indischer Dirigent westlicher und östlicher klassischer Musik. Er ist emeritierter Musikdirektor des Israel Philharmonic Orchestra und emeritierter Dirigent des Los Angeles Philharmonic. Mehtas Vater war der Gründer des Bombay Symphony Orchestra und Mehta erhielt von ihm seine musikalische Früherziehung.
