Christian Wargo is a guitarist and lead vocalist for Fleet Foxes, Crystal Skulls and Poor Moon. He is a former member of Danielson Famile and Pedro the Lion of David Bazan. Wargo's debut band Scientific released their debut album From the Nest of Idea in 2002 through Burnt Toast Vinyl. In 2004, he founded Crystal Skulls in Seattle with a group of drummer Casey Foubert and bassist Yuuki Matthews. They released two albums through Suicide Squeeze and toured the US with Black Mountain and Helio Sequence. At the time, Wargo shared the training space with another group in Seattle, Fleet Foxes, and in 2007, Wargo joined Fleet Foxes, Foubert and Matthews joined Sufjan Stevens. In 2012, Wargo released songs written prior to joining Fleet Foxes under the title Poor Moon, released on Sub Pop in the US and Bella Union in Europe. In 2014, Wargo re-launched Crystal Skulls with drummer Aaron Sperske, Todd Dahlhoff, George Holdcroft and Thomas Hunter.
