Ed Subitzky, whose full name is Edward Jack Subitzky, is an American writer and artist. He is best known as a manga artist, cartoonist and actor. He has worked as a writer and actor for television, author and performer of radio comedy and screenwriter for radio dramas. He also creates humor and humor in other media. Subitzky is a member of the American Association of Screen Actors-Federation of Television and Broadcasting Artists, and the American Writers' Association. In the early 1970s, Subitzky became editor-in-chief of National Lampoon magazine, where he worked with many famous comedian and comedic creators including Henry Beard, Doug Kenney, Michael O'Donoghue, PJ O ' Rourke and Michael Gross. Subitzky wrote and voiced alongside National Lampoon comedians John Belushi and Chevy Chase in episodes of National Lampoon Radio Hour. He also performed Belushi and Chase on his comedy album Lampoon, Lampoon's official stereo test and demo recording.
