Harrison set a world record 100 meters over a women's hurdle with a time of 12.20 seconds on July 22, 2016 at the London Müller Commemorative Games, breaking the 12.21 second world record set by the Bulgarian athlete. Yordanka Donkova set 28 years earlier. In college, she competed for the University of Kentucky Wildcats and in 2015, she won the NCAA Championship title both inside and away. She is the finalist in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2015 US Outdoor Championship; at the 2016 Olympic trials, she placed sixth and did not qualify for the Olympics. She won the 60m hurdles at the 2018 World Indoor Championships and the 100m Hurdles at the 2018 NACAC Championships. She finished second in the 100m Hurdles at the 2019 World Championships
