Business-owner turned politician, Lemuel P. Twine, learns about the dark side of politics during a campaign war with current mayor Moe Carson and local businessman Lester Caldwalader. After a few digs about each others campaigns, business turned personal resulting in a fistfight at a restaurant between the current mayor and a hopeful candidate. The movie was released in 1942.
