Hours away from his wedding, Roland goes missing. His friend Mike reflects on the misadventures he shared with Roland and their buddy Slim growing up in Inglewood. The story follows their troubles with gang members, the police, and women. The movie's song, "I Wanna Know", won a 2001 ASCAP Film And Television Music Award for Most Performed Songs from Motion Pictures.
