Bradley Carnegie Thorn is a football league coach and former football and rugby federation player. Born in New Zealand, he represented Australia in the rugby league and New Zealand in rugby during a 22-season football career. He is currently the head coach of the Queensland Red Devils. Thorn played rugby for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League competition for a total of ten seasons in two spells, and represented Queensland in the State of Origin series. He has played eight times for Australia - five for the Kangaroos and three for the Australian Super League team. His favorite spot in the rugby league is number two, although it is also effective as a prop. In 2000, Thorn received the Australian Sports Medal for his contribution to Australia's international place in the rugby tournament. He was first transferred to the rugby league in 2001 and after two appearances in the sport he became one of the most successful players in the football federation.
