Gillian Norris is an Irish dancer and model best known for her work in The Lord of Dance and Feet of Flame. Norris was born in Kilmacthomas, County Waterford, Ireland on December 29, 1978 to Mary Norris and Desmond Norris, a famous carpenter and soprano. Norris is the youngest of a family of 5 children. She started dancing lessons at the age of 10, when her parents enrolled her in dance lessons at the Higgins Irish Dance School in Waterford. She went on to win All Ireland, UK and National England titles and finished 3rd in the World Championship. Norris made her professional dancer debut when she performed "Morrighan, The Temptress" in Michael Flatley's show Lord of the Dance. Gillian danced with the show from its launch in July 1996 at the Point Theater in Dublin until its departure in 2000. Gillian has toured the world with the show. His portrayal of Morrighan was featured in two videos: the original video and the 1998 video Feet of Flames.
