Arthur Gustavo Malzahn III is an American football coach. He is currently a head coach at the University of Central Florida. He was the head football coach at Auburn University from 2013 to 2020. During the 2012 season, he was the football head coach at Arkansas State University, after working as an attack coordinator at Auburn. In 2010, a season in which the Auburn Tigers won the national championship, Malzahn received the Broyles Award, which recognized the best assistant coach in college football. Before joining Arkansas State and Auburn, Malzahn was an attack coordinator at the University of Arkansas and Tulsa University. During his first year as head coach at Auburn, Malzahn received the national attention for leading to one of the biggest grosses in the history of college football at Auburn.
