For over thirty years until 2007, he was the morning radio host in Australia combining music with interviews, views, live promotional readings and talkback listeners. His distinctive voice has earned him the nickname "The Golden Tonsils". Although he officially retired from 2007-2011, he returned in February 2011 to host the morning show on 2SM and Super Radio Network.
