Nick Catanese is an American musician. He is a former rhythm guitarist of the Black Label Society. He supports main player Zakk Wylde, who commented that "if I were Keith Richards, it was Mick Taylor". Nicknamed "The Evil Twin" because of his ability to track Wylde, the Catanese got involved when he noticed Wylde's email address in a magazine, and in one incident told Wylde if he needed a tech. Guitarist let him know. Wylde discussed with his wife the possibility of finding a second guitarist that day, then returning to the Catanese, the two met and struggled and the Catanese joined Wylde on the Book of Shadows tour. When Wylde was looking to form a band in 1998, Catanese introduced drummer Phil Ondich to him. Sonic Brew was recorded, and in 1999 John DeServio was added to the bass lineup - the Black Label Society was officially formed. Ondich was eventually replaced by Craig Nunenmacher, and several bassists replaced JD until he finally returned to the band in October 2005
