Thomas Sexton is a Canadian comedian. Born in St. Mary's. John's, Newfoundland, you are the youngest member of the CODCO comedy troupe. He was educated at St. John's and was an outstanding student before leaving after 10th grade to pursue an acting career in Toronto. After briefly participating in a children's theater program, he landed his first television role in the TV series Police Surgeon. Sexton and colleague Diane Olsen went on to write Cod on a Stick, a CODCO debut comedy. In 1975, Sexton took a short leave from CODCO to study at the Toronto Dance Theater. He then returned, worked on other shows with CODCO and then toured with colleague Greg Malone on two co-written works, The Wonderful Grand Band and Two Foolish to Talk About. In 1985 and 1986, Sexton and Malone wrote and starred in a CBC special series The S and M Comic Book, helping CODCO make their own series in 1987
