Tongai Moyo is a contemporary Zimbabwean musician, commonly known as Dhewa. Born and raised in Kwekwe, Dhewa became famous in the late 1990s as a solo artist and with the group Utakataka Express. Highly successful singles, including "Samanyemba", "Naye" and "Muchina Muhombe", have earned her domestic, regional and international fame; he has produced 14 albums in a career spanning over twenty years. Her 14th and last album, Toita Basa, was released on November 25, 2010 by Gramma Records. The album was released while having cancer treatment, and was diagnosed in 2008. The song "Ndinobvuma" was specially dedicated to his battle against evil illness.
