About Mr. Mayor
A retired Los Angeles businessman runs for mayor and ends up winning the seat. Comedic situations ensue when he discovers that politics and business are far from the same. The show was created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.
Achievement of Mr. Mayor
Filming on the first season was suspended in March of 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Carlock and Fey also created the hit Netflix series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
