The gravitational force equivalent, or, more commonly, g-force, is a measurement of the type of force per unit mass – typically acceleration – that causes a perception of weight, with a g-force of 1 g equal to the conventional value of gravitational acceleration on Earth, g, of about 9.8 m/s². Since g-forces indirectly produce weight, any g-force can be described as a "weight per unit mass". When the g-force is produced by the surface of one object being pushed by the surface of another object, the reaction force to this push produces an equal and opposite weight for every unit of an object's mass. The types of forces involved are transmitted through objects by interior mechanical stresses. Gravitational acceleration is the cause of an object's acceleration in relation to free fall. The g-force experienced by an object is due to the vector sum of all non-gravitational and non-electromagnetic forces acting on an object's freedom to move.

Principaux faits que vous ne saviez pas sur GFORCE
Artificial gravity - Artificial gravity is the creation of an inertial force that mimics the effects of a gravitational force, usually by rotation.. Earth's gravity - The gravity of Earth, denoted by g, is the net acceleration that is imparted to objects due to the combined effect of gravitation and the centrifugal force. In SI units this acceleration is measured in metres per second squared or equivalently in newtons per kilogram.. Euthanasia Coaster - The Euthanasia Coaster is a hypothetical steel roller coaster designed to kill its passengers. In 2010, it was designed and made into a scale model by Lithuanian artist Julijonas Urbonas, a PhD candidate at the Royal College of Art in London.. Gravitational acceleration - In physics, gravitational acceleration is the free fall acceleration of an object in vacuum — without any drag. This is the steady gain in speed caused exclusively by the force of gravitational attraction.. Gravitational interaction - Gravity, or gravitation, is a natural phenomenon by which all things with mass or energy—including planets, stars, galaxies, and even light—are brought toward one another. On Earth, gravity gives weight to physical objects, and the Moon's gravity causes the ocean tides.. Load factor (aeronautics) - In aeronautics, the load factor is the ratio of the lift of an aircraft to its weight and represents a global measure of the stress to which the structure of the aircraft is subjected.... Gravimetry.. Acceleration.. Units of acceleration.
