Née dans la ville de Constanța, elle a fait sa percée mondiale avec le single 2010 "Mr. Saxobeat", qui a été écrit et produit par Marcel Prodan et Andrei Nemirschi. Ils avaient déjà découvert Stan dans un bar karaoké en 2009 et l'avaient signée sur leur label, Maan Records.
