Née dans la ville de Constanța, elle a fait sa percée mondiale avec le single 2010 "Mr. Saxobeat", qui a été écrit et produit par Marcel Prodan et Andrei Nemirschi. Ils avaient déjà découvert Stan dans un bar karaoké en 2009 et l'avaient signée sur leur label, Maan Records. "Mr. Saxobeat" avait suivi le premier single de la chanteuse, "Lollipop", qui lui valut une renommée modérée en Roumanie. «M.
