Michael Richard Wittig is an American Christian musician, better known as "Kalel", the current bassist who won the Dove Awards and hard rock band Christian Pillar is nominated for a Grammy. After ten years playing with Pillar, Wittig left the band in September 2008. He later returned to the band in 2012. He was also a member of the pop rock group Stars Go Dim, alongside Joey Avalos, Lester Estelle Jr. and Chris Cleveland until 2012 .
