The Hives

The Hives are a Swedish rock band that rose to prominence in the early 2000s during the Garage Rock Revival. Their mainstream success came with the release of the album Veni Vidi Vicious, containing the single "Hate to Say I Told You So". The band has been acclaimed by music critics as one of the best live rock bands. The Hives have released five studio albums: Barely Legal, Veni Vidi Vicious, Tyrannosaurus Hives, The Black and White Album and Lex Hives. They have one compilation album, Your New Favourite Band and they have issued a live DVD, Tussles in Brussels.

Their third album, Tyrannosaurus Hives, hit number 1 on the Swedish charts and went Gold in Sweden, the UK, and the US. Their "A Christmas Duel" with Cyndi Lauper went 4 on the US charts.
