Erik Sandin, is an American musician and drummer for the punk rock group NOFX, and a former member of the punk rock group Caustic Cause. He was a founding member of NOFX when they formed in Hollywood, California in 1983. Two years after founding NOFX, he moved to Santa Barbara, leaving the group. In barely a year without Sandin the band had two drummers and in 1986 the band asked Sandin to join NOFX. He's been NOFX permanent drummer since his return in 1986 and has played drums on all NOFX's released albums and EPs, including the 2007 live album They've Actually Gotten Worse Live! . The Dogpiss group performed a song about him called "Erik Sandin's Stand In" on the compilation album Fat Wreck Chords Short Music for Short People. Before recording the White Trash album, Two Heebs and a Bean, the head of NOFX, Fat Mike, issued an ultimatum to Sandin. You must stop the heroine or be replaced
