Nick Trip was a fictional character in the UK soap opera Family Affairs, played by Barry McCormick. Nick was an original character in the serial, appearing from episode one in March 1997. He was the business partner of Chris Hart in a building business. Later it was learned that years before he had enjoyed a brief affair with Chris's wife Annie. He later married his son's solicitor Pamela Hargreaves but the marriage ended when she was sent to prison for killing the man who was stalking her. Nick abruptly left town, for destination unknown, in 1999.
