Blade Icewood, born Darnell Quincy Lindsay, is an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. Icewood grew up in western Detroit near 7 Mile Road & Evergreen and as a teenager moved to Southfield to attend Southfield High School. He was a member of the street rap group Lord'z and considered one of the most influential rappers in Detroit's underground rap genre. He was shot to death on April 19, 2005, in a gang violence incident in Detroit.
