Don Ameche è stato un attore, comico e vaudevillian americano. Dopo aver suonato in spettacoli universitari, stock e vaudeville, è diventato una grande star della radio nei primi anni '30, cosa che ha portato all'offerta di un contratto cinematografico dalla 20th Century Fox nel 1935.
