John Woolman
John Woolman was an American businessman, tailor, journalist, Quaker missionary, and the first colonialist abolitionist. Based in Mount Holly, near Philadelphia, he traveled across the United States to preach the Quaker faith, while campaigning against slavery and the slave trade, animal cruelty, injustice and oppression. economic, and constraint.
