Roger B. Taney
Roger Brooke Taney è stato il quinto giudice supremo degli Stati Uniti, ricoprendo tale posizione dal 1836 fino alla sua morte nel 1864. Ha dato un'opinione di maggioranza in Dred Scott v. Sandford, ha stabilito che gli afroamericani non potevano essere considerati cittadini e che il Congresso non poteva vietare schiavitù nei territori degli Stati Uniti.
