The remix version of the song which features YG was released as the lead single for her second studio album Double Dutchess on October 24, 2014. "L.A. Love" was used as background music in commercials for the 2015 Chrysler 200 and was also used as the theme song for the reality television series Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons and Togetherness and video game NBA 2K16.
