Clouds

In meteorology, a cloud is an aerosol consisting of a visible mass of minute liquid droplets, frozen crystals, or other particles suspended in the atmosphere of a planetary body or similar space. Water or various other chemicals may compose the droplets and crystals. On Earth, clouds are formed as a result of saturation of the air when it is cooled to its dew point, or when it gains sufficient moisture from an adjacent source to raise the dew point to the ambient temperature. They are seen in the Earth's homosphere, which includes the troposphere, stratosphere, and mesosphere. Nephology is the science of clouds, which is undertaken in the cloud physics branch of meteorology. There are two methods of naming clouds in their respective layers of the homosphere, Latin and common. Genus types in the troposphere, the atmospheric layer closest to Earth's surface, have Latin names due to the universal adoption of Luke Howard's nomenclature that was formally proposed in 1802.

关于Clouds

A teenager named Zach forms a band called A Firm Handshake. The group goes on to record an inspirational tune called "Clouds" that becomes an overnight hit. The film was directed by Justin Baldoni.

Clouds的成就

The film is based on the book Fly a Little Higher: How God Answered a Mom's Small Prayer in a Big Way by Laura Sobiech.

Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) (US).. Bioprecipitation - Bioprecipitation is the concept of rain-making bacteria and was proposed by David Sands from Montana State University before 1983. The formation of ice in clouds is required for snow and most rainfall.. Cloud albedo - Cloud albedo is a measure of the albedo or reflectivity of a cloud. Clouds regulate the amount of solar radiation absorbed by a planet and its solar surface irradiance. Generally, increased cloud cover correlates to a higher albedo and a lower absorption of solar energy.. Cloud Appreciation Society - The Cloud Appreciation Society is a society founded by Gavin Pretor-Pinney from the United Kingdom in January 2005. The society aims to foster understanding and appreciation of clouds, and has over 50,000 members from 120 countries, as of March 2020.. Cloud cover - Cloud cover refers to the fraction of the sky obscured by clouds when observed from a particular location. Okta is the usual unit of measurement of the cloud cover.. Cloud forcing - In meteorology, cloud forcing, cloud radiative forcing or cloud radiative effect is the difference between the radiation budget components for average cloud conditions and cloud-free conditions..
