Spanky Manikan is a Filipino theater, film and television actor. In 1981, Manikan won the title of Best Supporting Actor by the Metro Manila Film Festival and Best Supporting Actor by the Catholic Mass Communication Awards for the Himala. He also received the Best Supporting Actor award for the GMA Bahaghari Award for the 1995 film Parola. In 2014, Manikan was nominated by the PMPC Star Awards as Best Supporting Actor for Bamboo Flower. On December 1, 2014, he received the Best Actor Award at the Aliw Awards for his role as Zacarias Monzon in Tanghalang Pilipino's Mga Ama Mga Anak.
