About Defiance
Taking place in a post-apocalyptic Earth during the year of 2046, the city of Defiance which was once known as St. Louis, is faced with a dilemma as they are not only fighting for humanity against a new alien species but also against extinction of the different plant and animal species.

The show received exactly four award nominations, including a Primetime Emmy Awards nomination for Outstanding Special Visual Effects. The show only last for three season before being cancelled.
