The Incredibles 2 is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated superhero film, and is the direct sequel to The Incredibles. It is in production by Pixar Animation Studios, and will be released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is being written and directed by Brad Bird, the writer and director of the first film, and features Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell and Samuel L. Jackson all reprising their roles. The film is scheduled to be released on June 15, 2018 and will be given an IMAX release.

The film was originally meant for release on June 21, 2019. When it was moved up, Toy Story 4 took over the 2019 release date slot. It set the record for best animated film debut for an opening weekend with $182.7 million.
