Eric John Bristow, bijgenaamd "The Crafty Cockney", was een Engelse professionele darter. Hij werd door de World Darts Federation vijf keer op de wereldranglijst geplaatst, een record, in 1980, 1981 en 1983-1985. Hij was vijfvoudig wereldkampioen, vijfvoudig World Masters-kampioen en viervoudig wereldbekerkampioen in het enkelspel. Hij won 22 WDF- en BDO Major-titels en 70 carrièretitels in het algemeen. In de jaren '80 hielpen Bristow's vaardigheid en persoonlijkheid om van darten een wereldwijde kijksport te maken.
