James Leroy Bottomley was een Amerikaanse professionele honkbalspeler. Bottomley, een eerste honkman, speelde van 1922 tot 1937 in de Major League Baseball voor de St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds en St. Louis Browns. Hij diende ook als speler-manager voor de Browns in 1937.
