Justin Gunnar Walter Chancellor is een Engelse muzikant die voorheen in de band Peach speelde, maar vooral bekend staat als de bassist van de progressieve metalband Tool. De bondskanselier is van Engelse en Noorse afkomst. Nadat hij zich in de Verenigde Staten had gevestigd, hadden hij en zijn vrouw Shelee Dykman Chancellor niet alleen deelgenomen aan zijn muzikale projecten, maar ook een winkel genaamd Lobal Orning in Topanga, Californië, gewijd aan muziek en literatuur. De winkel sloot in 2008. Hij startte het muziekproject M.T.Void met Piotr "Glaca" Mohammed van Sweet Noise. In oktober 2012 speelde Chancellor de rol van bassist in het nummer "In the Spirit Of ..." op het album The Fusion Syndicate, uitgebracht door Cleopatra Records. Haar lied verscheen ook op het album The Prog Box uit 2014.
