Alexander Martin Clunes OBE DL is een Engelse acteur, tv-presentator, regisseur en komiek. Hij is vooral bekend door zijn rol als Martin Ellingham in de ITV-tv-series Doc Martin en Gary Strang in Men Behaving Badly. Clunes heeft een aantal documentaires gerapporteerd aan ITV, de eerste was British Island in 2009. Sindsdien heeft hij een aantal documentaires waarin dieren centraal staan.
