Paul Douglas Westphal is een Amerikaanse basketballer, hoofdcoach en commentator. Westphal speelde van 1972 tot 1984 in de National Basketball Association. Als keeper won hij in 1974 het NBA-kampioenschap met de Boston Celtics. Westphal speelde opnieuw in de NBA Finals van 1976 als lid van de Phoenix Suns. Zijn NBA-carrière omvatte ook games met de Seattle SuperSonics en de New York Knicks.
