Aaron Wright North is an American musician. He is the co-founder and guitarist of punk band The Icarus Line, lead guitarist of industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails, and singer / guitarist of Jubilee. North is known for his chaotic and unique approach to the guitar, his masterful use and responsiveness, and the passionate beats of his guitar on stage. His outspoken reputation on and off stage has received much criticism and praise from fans and music journalists, mainly due to his role as co-founder and owner of Buddyhead. Even more infamous, it left him in serious legal trouble many times. Music site Buddyhead is an outlet for his ruthless stubborn posts, as well as many of the notable interviews he has done with the likes of Kevin Shields and Greg Ginn. North's creation of Buddyhead Records later expanded into recording and production for several of their groups.
