Arne Jacobsen before becoming famous
Arne Jacobsen was born in the Zodiac sign Aquarius (The Water-Bearer), and 1902 is the year of the Chinese Zodiac Tiger (兎).
From 1924 to 1927, he worked as an apprentice mason before enrolling in the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' Architecture School, where he was mentored by the renowned Architect Kay Fisker and Kaj Gottlob. At the 1925 Paris Art Deco show, Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs and Industriels Modernes, he received a silver medal for chair design.
Achievement of Arne Jacobsen
In 1929, he and Flemming Lassen won a competition sponsored by the Danish Architects Association for their design of the House of the Future, which was displayed in Copenhagen's Forum.
