Billy Clyde Gillispie, also known by the abbreviations BCG and Billy Clyde, is an American college basketball player and currently a men's basketball coach at Tarleton State. Gillispie was previously head coach at UTEP, Texas A&M, Kentucky, Texas Tech. After leading both UTEP and Texas A&M off-season a year after bad seasons, Gillispie became the only college basketball coach in charge of the National Collegiate Athletic Association program to have the best of back-to-back seasons. Gillispie is known to be an excellent recruiter who has held four top 25 recruiting classes in a row. In his three seasons at Texas A&M, Aggies had three consecutive 20 seasons for the first time in the show's history.
