Robert Louis Fosse is an American dancer, musical choreographer, actor, director and filmmaker. He has directed and choreographed musical pieces on stage and on screen, including the musical `` Pajamas Game, Damn Yankees, How To Be Successful In Business Without Really Trying, '' Sweet Charity, Pippin and Chicago. His films include Sweet Charity, Cabaret, Lenny and All That Jazz. Fosse's distinctive choreography includes knee spins and "jazz players". He is the only person to win an Academy Award, an Emmy Award and a Tony Award in the same year. He was nominated for four Oscars, won the best pub director award and won the 1980 Palme d'Or award for All That Jazz. He won a record eight Tonys for his choreography, as well as a directing award for Pippin.
