Brent Sean Cecil Fischer is an American composer, orchestra, band, bassist and percussionist. Son of famous songwriter, composer and keyboardist Clare Fischer, Brent Fischer made his first recording with his father's Latin jazz ensemble, Salsa Picante, at the age of 16, which formed a professional association of over 30 years in between. Initially limited to credits only, his contributions gradually widened, until 2004 Fischer not only took on much of Fischer's placement workload, but was also an active leader of the led working group. By his father; moreover, since 2005, Brent Fischer has produced all of his father's albums, starting with Introspectivo. The first two of them were released after the death of Clare Fischer, ¡Ritmo! and Music for strings, percussion and the like, Grammy Award winners; previous edition 2013 for the best Latin jazz album, second edition 2014 for the best instrumental composer.
