Dani Olivier is a French photographer. He graduated from the HEC Paris business school. He started photography as a teenager at an informal weekly photography club in Paris. Between 2000 and 2006, Olivier worked on digital self-portraits. He asked his model to use his digital camera to take their first nude selfies. He wanted to capture the unique, non-repeatable moment: his first selfie, long before the concept became popular. From 2007, Olivier specializes in abstract nudity, which he achieves by projecting patterns on his model, as well as movement and optical distortion. It uses a minimalist design with a high-end modern light projector and camera.
