Gary Lee Conner is an American musician who was the guitarist for the alternative rock band Screaming Trees. His brother Van Conner is the band's bassist. Conner began his career with Screaming Trees in 1985, and performed with them until their disbandment in 2000. During this time, he released music that was not Trees: The Purple Outside-Mystery Lane, with his brother Patrick Conner who played drums and the single "Grasshopper's Daydream / Behind The Smile", with Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age. Conner performed on Beat Happening's “Indian Summer” and Jamboree's “Midnight a Go-Go”. Did he also contribute to "Against the 70s", of Ball-Hog or Mike Watt of Tugboat ?. After ten years of isolation, Conner released an album from his band Microdot Gnome. 4D Sugarcubes was released on Moonbus International Recordings in April 2010. He is preparing the band's next releases. In August 2016, Conner released a solo album, Ether Trippers, on Strange Earth Records.
